The IISME Summer Fellowship Program has received a tremendous endorsement
from the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group. The result is an increase in
the number of fellowships to be offered to teachers in the Summer of 2000.
Teachers who have 2 years experience are encouraged to apply to the Summer
Fellowship Program, an outstanding opportunity for professional
development.
The deadline for applications has been extended to February 29th.
Applications can be downloaded from the IISME website at
http://iisme.ucsc.edu/SFP_index.htm
Please encourage other teachers to consider applying!
This is a great way for teachers to learn:
*real world applications for their classes
*career options for students
*cutting edge technology
*best industry practices
Teachers can earn college credit while earning $700 a week, for 8 weeks
IISME accepts applications from k-12 teachers of all disciplines. Contact
