Hello,
IISME, Industry Initiatives for Science and Math Education, has been
placing science, mathematics and technology teachers in 8 week, summer
positions in the 5 bay area counties for 14 years. These positions are
sponsored by private companies and government agencies. The pay is $5600
for the 8 weeks and Social Security credit is earned. Currently, teacher
applications for this summer are quite low and more teachers are being
recruited. The deadline for IISME applications for this summer has been
extended until February 15th, see their web page at:
