In 1998 I completed my second vertical marathon, 26 miles of 5'th class climbing, almost all of it leading.
All those miles of leading have provided me with some fine memories, here are a few of them.

Sierra Nevada de Lagunas Bravas We did the first ascent of this 20,100 foot high Andean peak on the border between Chile and Argentina. |
Mt. Conness West Ridge ,October 1, 2000 Bob Ayers joined me climbing the ridge above the spectacular south face of Mt. Conness in Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite, California. The ridge is narrow and the routefinding is easy. |
