Earth Anatomy Poster

The Earth Anatomy Poster is a cross-sectional representation of the of the Earth's interior.
Graphics show size and scale features from Earth's core to it's surface and showcase human-made objects for comparison as well as touches upon seismology.
The poster was created in 1994-1995 at Tufts University during my year long H. Dudley Wright Fellowship at The
Wright Center for Innovation in Science Education* with graphic designer Dana Berry.
This poster was created with funding from the MIT Space Grant Consortium and consultation from Tufts University's department of Earth and Ocean Science as well as with the USGS's Woods Hole Research Center.

More information and a companion lesson can be found via the activtiy link, Earthwalk: Touring our Planet's Inner Structures by Eric Muller.

This is a " hands-on and feet-on" lesson of Earth’s interior structures. The original article was published in the September 1995 issue of “The Science Teacher”
