CitySpace
McBean Theater, Noon-4pm
An interactive program for kids, CitySpace uses the neighborhood as a way of introducing children to the Internet. CitySpace allows children to create an electronic scrapbook, with words, images, and voice, to communicate about the experience of their own neighborhood and exchange similiar information with kids from other neigbhorhoods around the country. What is important is that in the process, the kids are learning to use the technology, communicating and learning about the world around them and the world beyond the boundaries of their own neighborhoods.
