The film may or mat not be one molecule thick, it depends on whether it 
"spreads". It is possible to get good agreement with Avogadro's Number if the 
film spreads to what is assumed to be a monomolecular layer. Sometimes 
surface tension prevents the film from spreading and the agreement with 
Avogadro's number is poor.
