People,
Here's a repeat of the AGU meeting announcement:
You are invited to explore the Earth, Ocean, and Space Sciencesat the
Geophysical Information For Teachers workshop

Held in conjunction with the Fall Meeting
     of the American Geophysical Union

December 7 at the Exploratorium Science Center
and December 8 at the Moscone Convention Center.

Join the geophysical scientists who are exploring the planets and sun
with satellites, studying flooding and beach erosion, and working with
teacher to develop activities and methods of using the Internet to
     bring science into the classroom.

Participate in hands-on demonstrations of the latest teaching
materials developed for classrooms. Explore the planets. Find out
about NASA's mission to Mars and how you can access NASA data on the
Internet. A special session by scientists from NASA's missions to
study the sun will provide you with a free CD containing some of the
     results of their work.

Meet the scientists who are carrying out this exciting research at the
Fall Meeting of the American Geophysical Union. Hear about their
discoveries and have lunch with the researchers who are learning how
to define your planet and its place in space. Take these leading edge
discoveries and discovery methods back to your classroom for your
     students.

The American Geophysical Union's Fall Meeting attracts more than 7,000
scientists from all parts of the world who come together to share
their research findings. This special two day workshop for teachers in
the San Francisco Bay area provides an opportunity to meet and talk
     with these scientists.
