Subject: liquid nitrogen created liquid oxygen
Hi Bob
thanks for your note.
I take a metal pot of liquid nitrogen and suspend it in the air.
Liquid oxygen drops fall off the bottom.
I allow the liquid oxygen drops to slide down and inclined plane passing a
2" cube of neodymium. The oxygen is dramatically attracted to the magnet
because it is paramagnetic.
I haven't tried smaller neodymium magnets but they may also deflect the
sliding oxygen.
