Subject: Wavy Glass
Dearest Pinholers,
When you look at an old (turn of the century) window they look "wavy."
I've heard of two reasons to explain this phenomenon:
1) Glass is an amorphous solid that flows (because of gravity) over
time.
2) Old glass was just made that way.
Does anybody know anything about this vitreous puzzle?
