I just found out about this last night --- sounds very interesting and
useful. Want to know what all the strange items in your classroom closet
are? Here's the info from a flyer I picked up:
Darnwin's Road Show -- February 9th California Academy of Sciences,
Golden Gate Park
Bring us your feathers, bugs, bones, leaves and rocks. Bring us anything
from the natural world and we'll try to identify it. Academy experts from
the fields of Anthropology, Botany, Entomology, Geology, Herpetology,
Ichthyology, Invertebrate Zoology, Mammalogy, and Ornithology, will be on
the floor of the Academy from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, February 9 to
answer your questions.
We think it's the natural way to celebrate Darwin's birthday.
(If you ride your bike or take public transit you save $2.50 off admission).
