My son is trying to do this project for the seventh grade science fair, but he cannot get it to work. Is magnet wire a special kind of wire. I went to radio shack and they originally gave me telephone wire. When that didn't work, they told me to try 22 gauge stranded hook-up wire. But, it is still not working. Any ideas?
