I just wanted to know? I have a few Questions.

Will the size matter for the plates? I have one thick piece of copper and a
thin piece of aluminum.I did the test on the mircometer and it's works.Would
I get a better reading if they were the same size?

How high does the reading go? Is it supposed to be on the good or bad side
of the mircometer.
