Thanks for a very nice explanation of this phenomenon.

I am designing a reflecting pool for my new house, all my old physics books
are packed away, and I couldn't remember the formula for calculating this.
With you nice explanation, I didn't even need to drag out my trusty HP
scientific calculator!

One suggestion: a link to the actual formula for calculating the critical
angle would have been nice.
