I was reading over the printout of my long reply to you that I just sent, and
found an error! Maybe this will never end! In your original e-mail, you stated
near the end "The fact is that electric current flows from the negative side
of the battery, through the wire to the minus side." I blindly retyped this
statement in the middle of the first paragraph of my reply. The word "minus"
should of course actually read "positive" or "plus." Hope this does it -- Don
