Solo Librarians Meeting on October 5th
The Solo Librarians of the San Andreas Chapter of SLA invite you to join
them for their next meeting on October 5th. Anyone with an interest in
small libraries is welcome, including students and recent grads of the
MLIS programs.
Eric Kristofferson will be hosting the meeting at 6 P.M. on Wednesday,
October 5th at St. Jude Medical, 701 E. Evelyn Ave., near Wolfe Rd. and
Central Expressway in Sunnyvale. Below is a map link to the location. We
will provide detailed travel directions in a later email.
Hallie Loveridge of Wolper Subscription Services will be discussing
Wolper's online tools for managing your journal subscriptions.
Time will be set aside for networking and sharing your questions and
ideas about working in the small library environment.
We will be giving the attendees a choice of sandwiches or salads from a
local deli.
Those who are planning to attend need to contact Eric Kristofferson by
September 30th. If you have already responded there is no need to
respond again.

From 280: Take the Wolfe Rd. exit going toward the bay. Cross El Camino
Real and go several more blocks before turning left on East Evelyn Ave.
(just before the only overpass). Look for the high-tension wires on the
right in the middle of a very long block. Turn into the driveway marked
St. Jude Medical and enter the lobby of the first building.
From 101: Take the Fair Oaks Ave. exit going away from the bay. After
several blocks jog left onto Wolfe Rd. Immediately after passing over
the only overpass, make a right turn onto East Evelyn Ave. Look for the
high-tension wires on the right in the middle of a very long block. Turn
into the driveway marked St. Jude Medical and enter the lobby of the
first building.
