Speaker: Pam Rollo, Incoming President of SLA

Please join with your fellow Sierra Nevada Chapter members and their guests at the last dinner meeting of our 2004-2005 year. Our speaker will be Pam Rollo, incoming President of the Special Libraries Association. Pam has been Director of Information Resources for Crédit Suisse First Boston in New York City since 2000. In the same year Pam received the Distinguished Member Award of SLA's Business and Finance Division. Pam is an animated, enthusiastic and well-informed special librarian who will entertain and enlighten us with her views on where special librarianship and SLA in particular are going.

Our dining selection will be among three beginning dishes: Mixed Green Salad with balsamic vinaigrette; Thai Noodle Salad with noodles, shredded chicken, carrots and cucumbers with a spicy peanut dressing; or Spinach Salad, with Fuji apples, bleu cheese and candied walnuts; then as main dishes: Grilled Chicken Sandwich with achiote marinade, cabbage and radish slaw and roasted green chile mayonnaise; Roasted Turkey Breast Sandwich with smoked gouda cheese, field greens, cranberry-pear chutney and sage mayonnaise with honey wheat bread; or Portobello Mushroom Sandwich, with field greens, tomato, homemade pickles, red onion and mayonnaise.
