We've always had luck contacting the National Weather Service. Here's
the info

 

National Weather Service's National Climatic Data Center

www.ncdc.noaa.gov (sells data online)

phone: 828-271-4800 for technical assistance in getting exactly the data
required

 

They are so nice at NOAA, and I believe the fees are nominal. I'd
probably just call them.

I need annual rainfall data for Oakland for 1999-2002. I'm sort of
finding daily and monthly figures, but not for those years. Any
