SLA meeting until September.

Registration deadline is May 17th.

The 21st Century Librarian:
Turning Challenges into Opportunities
 
Speaker: Anne Marie Gold
Director, Sacramento Public Library

Anne Marie Gold will share her insights into the future of the profession as
librarians continue to tackle issues such as the impact of digital
technologies. Anne Marie has an extensive background in the administration
of public libraries. She is currently the Director of the Sacramento Public
Library, but has also served as the County Librarian for Solano and Contra
Costa counties as well as the Interim Manager for the Library of California.

Dinner entrees include choice of Chicken Caesar Salad, Marinated Boneless
Breast of Chicken, 1/2 Slab of Baby Back Ribs, or 1/2 Slab of St. Louis
Ribs. The ribs and chicken boneless breast are served with baked potato and
coleslaw. All entrees include a non-alcoholic beverage: soda, coffee, tea or
milk. Cookies will be provided for dessert.
