Systems (SIMS) Dean, AnnaLee Saxenian, has resumed the Annual Alumni Spring
Luncheon on May 8. All UC Berkeley Library School and SIMS Alums are

C. Judson King: Jud King is a forty-one year Berkeley faculty member in
chemical engineering. As Berkeley's Provost for Professional Schools
and Colleges from 1987 to 1994, he oversaw the effort that defined the
School of Information Management and Systems. As Provost and Senior
Vice President -- Academic Affairs for the UC System from 1995 to 2004,
he dealt constantly with intense public policy issues surrounding
admissions to the University of California and its campuses.
