As someone who in the past has taken SLA to task for not being involved in
important issues regarding information and access to it I want to commend
you and SLA for joining with our sister organizations in these many
important initiatives. Keep up the good work alerting the membership to
matters of concern to us and to our communities whether corporate,
scientific, technical, academic and/or public. The latest issue of the
"Public Policy Update" reflects an Association moving toward being proactive
and more visible in the library community nationwide. Thank you.
