Subject: Request to forward announcement to SLA SF Chapter
Importance: High
Hi Tamara,
CARL SEAL North has planned a wonderful field trip to the Don Edwards
National Wildlife Refuge (south bay) from 10 am to 3:30 pm. This is the
100th
anniversary
of the National Wildlife Refuge system, so there will be special
exhibits and special tours (Botanical Wanderings and Geological tours),
plus a time capsule of primary resources.
Unfortunately, it's on Friday, May 16, the same day as your "Gournet
Evening with
Phil Bronstein".
However, I was wondering if we could still post our announcement to the
SLA listserv? We are having a low turn out and a wonderful day was
planned with several volunteers. Our event ends at 3:30 pm, so there
would still be plenty of time for people to attend your event (in fact,
I'm planning on
going).
So, please let me know asap if the announcement attached below can be
sent to your listserv, as our event is only 2.5 weeks away.
Best regards,
Mari Miller
