Coming on Friday 25 October, 2002 at the Rancho Cordova Library --
An opportunity to learn to evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate license 
agreements with confidence.  Get practical advice on user authentication, 
pricing issues, and pitfalls to avoid.  The speaker is Sybil Boutilier, 
Contract Officer for San Francisco Public Library, who has extensive 
experience in negotiating with vendors and developing contract provisions.
Co-sponsored by Ross McDonald Company, Inc. and the Mountain Valley Library 
System.
SLA Members $65, Non-members $75.  MVLS offers free registration for staff 
of MVLS member libraries.
