Speaker: Sybil Boutilier
Sybil Boutilier is the Contract Officer for San Francisco Public Library,
and she has extensive experience in negotiating with publishers and
aggregators on licensing agreements for SFPL's online materials. She is
past president of CLA's IT Division, and served on ALA-LITA's Legislative
and Regulatory Committee for four years. She also served for six years on
the City of San Francisco's Telecommunications Policy Committee, charged
with developing contract provisions and compliance policies for the City's
Cable Franchise Agreement. She has taken a leading role in developing
online resources and is a frequent speaker on technology and community
access.
